This workshop will focus on the treatment of complex trauma with the emphasis on treatment of the traumatic attachment to the abuser.  Treatment not only has to deal with the trauma of the abuse and neglect by the caregiver, but the traumatic attachment to them.

This workshop will mainly present video tapes of EMDR therapy sessions with clients with complex trauma/dissociation to illustrate :

a) preparation strategies (e.g Meeitng Place, and resourcing of Emotional Parts),

b)  b) EMDR memory reprocessing involving Apparently Normal Part(s) and Emotional Parts

c) c)  Treating traumatic attachment to the perpetrator

The videos shown are with clients who have experienced childhood sexual abuse.  Reactions during EMDR therapy are intense, but within the window of tolerance.  However, the participants should know videos can be intense.

A sequential translation into French by Jenny Rydberg will be foreseen for the Frenchspeaking participants. There is a discount on the price for the persons who don’t need the translation : 120 € instead of 135€.

Cet atelier se concentrera sur le traitement des traumatismes complexes, en mettant l'accent sur le traitement de l'attachement traumatique à l'agresseur. Le traitement doit non seulement traiter le traumatisme de l'abus et de la négligence de la part de la personne, donneur de soin, mais aussi l'attachement traumatique à cette personne.

Cet atelier présentera principalement des enregistrements vidéo de séances de thérapie EMDR avec des clients souffrant de traumatisme/dissociation complexe pour illustrer :

a) Les stratégies de préparation (ex : le lieu de réunion, et le ressourcement des parties émotionnelles),

b) Le retraitement de la mémoire EMDR impliquant la ou les parties apparemment normales et les parties émotionnelles

c) Le traitement de l'attachement traumatique à l'agresseur.

Les vidéos présentées concernent des clients qui ont subi des abus sexuels dans leur enfance. Les réactions pendant la thérapie EMDR sont intenses, mais restent dans la fenêtre de tolérance. Cependant, les participants doivent savoir que les vidéos peuvent être intenses.

Une traduction en séquentiel sera prévue par Jenny Rydberg.

Prix du workshop avec traduction : 135€.
